On Sunday Google’s was a bit sweeter than usual, to commemorate the 119th anniversarry of the first ever recorded ice cream sundae!

119 years ago in Ithaca , New York John M. Scott and Chester Platt invented the dish, which they first derved as the “Cherry Sunday”. After attempting to trademark the term “Sunday” it became known as a “Sundae”!
